Understanding Finance
How will it help me?
The main focus for this workshop will be to introduce and explain the fundamental financial planning and understanding. Also Core Financial Statements of the Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow will be explained and used as an illustration for wider commercial and financial thinking.
Depending on your financial knowledge, we recommend you attend the Understanding Finance workshop in the first instance before signing up for any of the other modules, as this covers the basics. The other four modules do assume a basic level of financial knowledge, which is imparted during Understanding Finance.
What will I learn?
Scenario specific case studies will encourage you to test and apply your understanding in a safe and experiential environment, by the end of the day you will have successfully prepared a P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.
