Raising Finance
How will it help me?
This workshop aims to help you understand how to raise finance for your business and how this fits with Financial Planning. The main focus for the day will be the sources of external finance and how potential investors can be approached and encouraged to invest in a SME business.
Depending on your financial knowledge, we recommend you attend the Understanding Finance workshop in the first instance before signing up for any of the other modules, as this covers the basics. The other four modules do assume a basic level of financial knowledge, which is imparted during Understanding Finance.
What will I learn?
From both a commercial and financial perspective the importance of business planning and forecasting will be covered before the short-term and long-tem sources of finance will be introduced and explored.
