Why did you decide to take part in the workshops?
Before taking part in the workshops I was having trouble with both raising finance for my business and managing my accounts. I needed help and thought the workshops would assist me in taking control of the business finances.


What did you aim to get out of the sessions?
Although I had a certain level of know-how regarding finance, I wanted to increase my knowledge and gain better understanding of separating my accounts so that I could apply my learning to the everyday running of the business.


What did you enjoy most about attending?
I found the workshops easy to follow and to learn from. The tutor delivered them really well, was very attentive and spent time with each member of the group to make the learning individual and personal. 


How have you used what you learnt within your business?
Since finishing the workshops I have applied my knowledge of Profit and Loss to manage Balance Sheets as well as raising finance. It has also helped me understand the reasoning behind a bank’s decision to provide finance to a business. 


What benefits have the sessions brought to your business?
I have started to use the information gained from the workshops in my every day running of the business. Although it is still too early to notice drastic changes, I am confident that the changes I am making will have a positive impact further down the line.


Would you recommend the sessions to other businesses?
Yes, I would definitely recommend all of the workshops to other businesses.
