How will it help me?
This workshop will concentrate on why a business seeks to grow, what this entails and how it is achieved. As an introduction, time will be spent exploring why companies chose to grow where staying the same size is an option. This may include aspects concerning the company’s vision, mission and growth aspirations.
Depending on your financial knowledge, we recommend you attend the Understanding Finance workshop in the first instance before signing up for any of the other modules, as this covers the basics. The other four modules do assume a basic level of financial knowledge, which is imparted during Understanding Finance.
What will I learn?
From the financial and commercial perspective the workshop will explore budgeting and forecasting with a view to supporting capacity planning. It will also introduce concepts that enable a company to assess the competitive market and potential areas for growth.
